You may be able to just trim the very ends without actually taking a noticeable amount of length off. Look for shampoos that are meant to prevent split ends, which'll keep ya from having more. But I'm pretty sure once you have a split end there is no way to mend it.
...I know how you feel but you MUST cut split ends...if not they will go all the way up your head and your hair will look stringy and scraggly because it will not be thick and full ... you will be able to see through the hair if you know what I mean...just get them cut now or you'll have to get them cut later and later they will have split even more so you will have to get more hair cut...that's how you grow your hair long, you take care of it as far as the products you use and you keep the ends trimmed...
You can't. You have to cut it. Split ends can't be ';repaired';, no matter what shampoo commercials might say.
it depends on how damaged your hair is. if tis damaged it needs to be cut a few inches. if not then just get a trim where they just cut 1 inch or less. My cousin used to hair short hair but she would get her edges trimmed every few weeks (they say do it every 5 or 6 something like that) and her hair grew, it got almost as long as mine but she;s been trimming her hair for a few years. so try it. its the only way to get rid of split ends
