How do you do the front splits?

I need a Professional to tell me what to do,because i dont want to get the wrong idea from other people.So can anyone help me?How do you do the front splits?
you can't just do the 'front splits', you have to stretch and practice every day, i don't know if dance but if you didn't know that i would assume you don't. I am not very flexible but on wednesday we stretched for my entire ballet class and i am nearly down (yay). here is a stretch you can do :)...


sit with one leg straight out in front of you and your back leg in American split type position. do eight bounces over it with a flat back, eight bounces over it with a curved back, eight very small bounces it and then hold the position so your head touches your leg and keep it there for 16 counts. repeat this moving your back leg further and further backwards until you are right on top of the actual split position then do the same with the other leg. do this every day but MAKE SURE YOU ARE WARMED UP!!!! so you don't hurt yourself

you need to stretch everyday before even attempting a full front split.
by front splits i hope you mean with either your left or right let in front and the other in back. here goes: simply put one leg in front of you straight. hold your self up with your hands and slide your back leg out as far and you can. if you need to, keep holding yourself up. do not rest or put your back knee on the floor unless you are low enough. if this makes not sence to you at all, try asking a friend if they know how to do the splits and they may be able to show you. good luck! :)
take your left or right leg (which ever one you want to strech) slide it down slowly, just until it hurts (but don't force it too much or you could pull a muscle) hold it for one or two minuets a day until you have your splits (it could even take 1 0r two months) theres no easy way to get your splits!!sorrry, but I hope this helps!!!

I have never heard the term ';Front Splits'; Before.
