How do i enable split screen for my computer?

I have two monitors and one computer, and I'm trying to enable the split screen function, where i can drag a window onto the next. How do i do this? Can anyone help? How do i enable split screen for my computer?
it depends on ur videocard i think .. but usually just go to display properties click on the second monitor in 'settings' and tick the extend my desktop to this monitor box ..(this is xp) ...How do i enable split screen for my computer?
right click on taskbar and tile you windows....thats the only way windows does split screen, unless you have a 3rd generation 3D graphics card, then its done via software of the video card.
If you right click on the desktop%26gt;settings%26gt;advanced you may find there an option where it lets you do what you want, cant tell you an exact answer because it has different ways for different video cards, but most likely you will find a option there.
If you have 2 monitors and 2 monitor ports on the back of your computer, then once they are both attached, right click on your desktop, go to properties, click on the settings tab. you should then see 2 monitor icons in a grey window with one of the monitors greyed out, click on it and click the box that says ';Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor.'; then click apply and ok. It may ask you to restart the computer but should show up imediatly on the 2nd monitor.

If you don't have 2 monitor ports on the back of your computer, (or one of the ports is an s-video or component out) then you will need to get a new video card.
