Why do some states split up the delagates and others are winner take all?

Does anyone else think that the states should be uniform in how they split up the delagates? It kind of makes the voting process confusing? Why do some states split up the delagates and others are winner take all?
Every state should have the same amount of delegates

Why should one state have more clout than others.

Every state should also hold Primaries.

It should be the Popular vote wins and NO Electoral CollegeWhy do some states split up the delagates and others are winner take all?
It's because the state parties each get to decide whats best for their states. Caucuses and winner-take-all primaries work well in some small states, like Iowa, while a primary with delegates awarded by district works in a big state like California.

It may be confusing on election night, but it doesn't impede anyone from going to their polling place and casting a ballot for the person they want to win.
because your vote doesnt count. The state decides whats best for their people and tahts not fair...thats why I dont vote, it doesnt even freakin matter! I think no citizen should be more special than the next, its stupid! FREAK voting, its a waste of time
To cheat the common voter!

These people's vote must not matter. It is up to state legislation.
