What is the best way to make a banana split?

I'm about to make one, does anyone have any tips. What is the best way to make a banana split?
I like to cut the banana in bite size pieces, then I put a scoop each of chocolate strawberry and vanilla on top. Then, I put thawed frozen strawberries with heavy syrup over the strawberry ice cream, crushed pineapple in heavy syrup over the chocolate ice cream, and chocolate syrup over the vanilla.Top with whipped cream, chopped walnuts and marachino cherries. I used to work at an ice cream parlor when I was a teen, and this is how they were made. Although you can use any flavor ice cream and any toppings you want. I've had a customer come in an order it with 1 scoop of each:

orange sherbert

blackraspberry ice cream

cookie dough ice cream

and had it all covered in hot fudge only. so whatever you like, then make it that way. What is the best way to make a banana split?
aight get regular french vanilla from some cheap place that sells ice cream(as in ice cream from the carton) and about the banana...you should get a banana with a deep and rich yellow tone with a few brown speckles and if your thinking about adding caramel or chocolate syrup get the one with highest calcium its the best tasting one
Steps:

1. Peel a banana and cut it in half lengthwise.

2. Put the two halves in a long, skinny ice cream bowl.

3. Place three scoops of ice cream on top of the banana: one chocolate, one vanilla and one strawberry.

4. Pour hot fudge over the chocolate ice cream.

5. Pour pineapple syrup over the vanilla ice cream.

6. Pour strawberry syrup over the strawberry ice cream.

7. Top with whipped cream, a few cherries and nuts.

Tips:

For low-fat sundaes, use frozen yogurt or reduced-fat ice cream.

Add caramel to your sundae for a special treat.

Go wild and put the strawberry sauce on the chocolate ice cream and the hot fudge on the strawberry ice cream. You can vary the ice cream and sauce flavors as you wish, of course.
Takes a little longer, but split open your banana place in a 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Place the hot banana in a boat and scoop on the ice cream while the banana is still hot. Add your toppings and devour.
