Can stylists remove split ends entirely or almost?

I have split ends only on my bangs but there are a lot. I'm planning to get it trimmed at a salon but I was wondering can they cut all the split ends off at once or almost all of them? Or do you just gradually get it removed?Can stylists remove split ends entirely or almost?
Babe, split ends don't grow, they happen!

If your hair tends to get dry or you are pretty rough with it (eg. tease it, put heaps of product on it) it will also contribute. What happens is the very end splits a little %26amp; over time that split travels up the shaft of hair. Brushing your natural oils from ya scalp down your hair helps keep them protected.

You are best to get split ends cut out completly if you can %26amp; take care of your hair. Regular trims will keep them at a minimum. Strange that you only have them on ya bangs! usually the back ends are the worst ;-PCan stylists remove split ends entirely or almost?
i think they take of as many as possible, but they will regrow, u have to trim ur hair often. when u find split ends i was told that u have to open them and then ur hair will keep on growing normally. like u pull one end till it comes off until ur left with on hair instead of one divided into two :P hope it makes sense and helps :D
When you get your hair cut, it removes all the split ends that you have. but eventually they will grow back, so then you just get it cut again. It sounds like a hassle doesn't it? But if you go every few months it shouldn't be that bad.
Most hairdressers i knwo are idiots. I wanted ';as much as you have to cut off to get rid of split ends';

and there was still some there afterwards - and my hair isnt ever very damaged!
