I blow dry my hair every day. It's thin %26amp; fine.
What are some good products to keep the blow drying heat damage from being so harsh on my hair?
And what are some products to repair damaged hair and make it look not so dead?
Any other tips/suggestions ?How to mend split ends / damaged hair %26amp; keep it from further damage?
hey you can't mend split ends the only way to really get rid of them is cutting them above the splits.
and the same for damaged hair you can't fix damaged hair, you can only make it look nice but it will always be damaged.
so all you can do is grow out your hair and cut off the damaged part.
yeah you need a good heat protectant get tresemme heat spray on protectant it works really good but if you want really good quality get chi silk infusion. it works really good and it makes your hair healthier.
things you can do it try to blow dry less often, yes its hard not to make your hair look nice but its kinda expensive.
but some really good conditioners/treatments that i got from a regular drugstore
was aussie 3 minute miracle, and neutrogenas triple moisture mask. those are really good and they help a lot . if you use it daily you can see a difference in your hair!
i would recommend getting a leave-in conditioner because those really help to condition your hair throughout the day and it makes your hair nice and soft but also moisturized (which is what you need A LOT of!)
i'd recommend garnier fructis sleek and shine leave in conditioner!

The best thing for split ends is to just cut them off. Have your hair trimmed regularly so the split ends can't even get there!!
Your best bet for products, since there are so many out there, is to go to a salon where they sell higher end, professional products. I recommend going and getting a trim (less than half-inch) along with a deep conditioning treatment. So ask them which products they used for you, and purchase those products. You probably want a daily moisturizing conditioner, along with the deep conditioning treatment and perhaps some kind of serum, or protectant, to use with your hair dryer. Also, try not to use the hair dryer on the hottest setting.
Well...one suggestion is to try not to use the hair-dryer too much because it will dry your hair out. Keep your ends trimmed every six weeks.
Here is a webpage with some good tips for healthy hair.
Mayo helps soooo much on your hair more then any hair product ive ever used. I know it sounds sick, but i think youll be very happy with the results.... sometimes us girls have to go through hell to look beautiful but i think we all know its worth it :)
PS if the mayo thing isnt really your cup of tea, then try a conditioner applyed to your ends over night
